The Given Table is

x : 0    2     4     6

y :  0  9   18   27

\frac{x}{y}=\frac{2}{9}=\frac{4}{18}=\frac{6}{27}, {\text{Each being equal to}} \frac{2}{9}

Which shows a proportional relationship.

Now first plotting these points on two dimensional Coordinate  plane, and then finding equation of line using Two point Slope formula.

\frac{y-0}{x-0}=\frac{9-0}{2-0} \\\\ y=\frac{9}{2}x  {\text{Which is given by Two point formula of line , Joining} (x_{1}, y_{1}), (x_{2}, y_{2})  is \\\\ \frac{y-y_{1}}{x-x_{1}}=\frac{y_{2}-y_{1}}{x_{2}-x_{1}}

y= 4.5 x

Y = 4.5 x because 9/2 is 4.5 18/4 is 4.5 and 27/6 is 4.5

The area of a rectangle with 2 1/2 as the width and 10 feet as the length
Tanya [424]
The formula for the area of a rectangle is:
A=wl
w = width
l = length

First, we have to convert 2 \frac{1}{2} into an improper fraction, then into a number. The improper fraction would be \frac{5}{2}. Let's convert that into a decimal.
5/2=2.5

Let's multiply
2.5*10=25
The area of the rectangle would be 25 feet!

If m<13=m<15=m<7, what conclusions can you make about lines a, b, c, and d?
Strike441 [17]

Answer:

option D

Lines a and b are parallel and lines c and d are parallel.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given in the question four lines a , b, c, d.

<h3>Prove one</h3>

If two parallel lines (a,b) are cut by a transversal(d), then corresponding angles m<7 and m<15 are congruent.

They are know as corresponding angles.

Hence lines a and b are parallel.

<h3>Prove two</h3>

If two parallel lines (c,d) are cut by a transversal(d), then corresponding angles m<13 and m<15 are congruent.

They are know as corresponding angles

Hence lines c and d are parallel
