in 1984 don, disk that stayed aloft for 16.7 seonds supsuppose cain ran up a staricase during this time, reachig a height of 18.
laila [671]

Answer

given,

time of disk stayed a loft = 16.7 sec

height reached = 18.4 m

mass  = 72 kg

now work done is equal to change in potential energy

W = - (U_f - U_i)

W = - (mgh - 0)

W = - (72\times (-9.8) \times 18.4)

W = 12983.04 J

Positive sign means that work is in the direction of motion.

Power = \dfrac{Work\ done}{time}

Power = \dfrac{W}{t}

Power = \dfrac{12983.04}{16.7}

P = 777.42 Watts

If the volume is held constant, what happens to the pressure of a gas as temperature is decreased? Explain.
Lady bird [3.3K]

Answer:Decreases

Explanation:

Given

Volume is held constant that is it is a isochoric process.

We know that

PV=nRT

as n,V& R are constant therefore only variables are

P & T

so \frac{P_1}{T_1}=\frac{P_2}{T_2}

\frac{P_1}{P_2}=\frac{T_1}{T_2}

As T_1 is decreasing therefore Pressure must also decrease so that ratio remains constant.

17. The Earth exerts a gravitational force of 0.750 N on an object.
n200080 [17]

Answer:

0.076 kg

Explanation:

The force created by gravity can be found using mass x (9.8 m/s^2).

mg=0.750 N

m(9.8) = 0.750

Multiply both sides by 9.8: m = 0.076 kg
