Answer:

Area= 48 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the radius is 4, to get area, you must get 4 squared(4 x 4), which is 16. Then, multiply 16 to 3(pi), and the answer is 16 x 3 = 48.

Below for question 10.
Monica [59]

Answer:

3/56

Step-by-step explanation:

There are 8 letters in the word DECEMBER. The probability of picking a C first is 1/8, since there's only one C. Since the letter is not replaced, there are now 7 letters to choose from, out which 3 of those are the letter E. Therefore, the probability of picking an E second is 3/7. The total probability then is equal to \frac{1}{8} times \frac{3}{7}, which is equal to \frac{3}{56}.

Hope this helps! :D

Can someone answer this question please answer it correctly if it’s corect I will mark you brainliest
Sergeu [11.5K]

This is what's called an 'and' probability because we are looking for the probability that die 1 rolls an odd number <em>and </em>die 2 rolls an odd number.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

Out of those numbers on a die, 3 of them are odd. So the probability that die 1 rolls an odd number is 3/6 and the probability that die 2 rolls an odd number is also 3/6.

And means multiply (most of the time), so to find the probability that both dice show an odd number, we will multiply 3/6 x 3/6.

3/6 x 3/6 = 9/36 = 1/4

Hope this helps! :)
