So whats the answer. My best logical guess is D. Why would the turtle have to go above the water. If their living in a pond, then studying them above water makes no sense. So it's most useful if they are remaining underwater for many minutes at a time then reach for the surface, so that's the answer most likely, but i have no idea.

So... D. A turtle may remain underwater for several minutes, but then surfaces for at least a brief moment.

Which coronary arterial branch is found in close association with the inferior border of the heart?.

The branch of the posterior descending artery that supplies blood to the inferior chamber of the heart. The LMCA supplies blood to the left side of the heart.

What is the arterial network?

The circulatory system, also known as the vascular system, is made up of the blood and lymphatic vessels that transport fluid throughout the body. In addition to delivering oxygen and nutrients to the tissues and eliminating waste from the cells, the arteries and veins move blood throughout the body.

Which organ has arteries in it?

The blood vessels known as arteries carry oxygen-rich blood from the heart to all of the body's cells. They are a part of your cardiovascular system, which circulates your blood. For your body to receive nutrition, hormones, and oxygen, they are necessary.

Define the term cell differentiation and describe its importance to an organism
Aleksandr-060686 [28]

Cellular differentiation describes how different cells perform different processes and have unique functions. There are at least 250 cells in the human body and each one plays a different role, and all of them are crucial to the body's ability to maintain homeostasis. For example, liver cells produce proteins that are important in blood clotting. If these cells are damaged, blood will not clot properly. If blood does not clot, a body cannot maintain homeostasis and the person will fall ill.

TL;DR: every cell plays its part and keeps the organism alive.

What mammalian cells would not be a good source to observe dividing cells in an adult?.
denis23 [38]

Everlasting cells are cells that are incapable of regeneration. these cells are taken into consideration to be terminally differentiated and non-proliferative in postnatal lifestyles. This includes neurons, heart cells, skeletal muscle cells, and pink blood cells.

Pink blood cells (RBCs) fall right into a truly less complicated category. Mature RBCs do not divide. In truth, because mature RBCs do not even have a nucleus, those cells in reality can not do an awful lot of anything other than act as vessels for the hemoglobin with which they are jam-packed. New RBCs are made in the marrow within the mature human.

Because the mitochondria are the mobile website for oxidative metabolism, where glucose is damaged all the way down to carbon dioxide and water to release energy, and because purple blood cells lack these organelles they cannot break down glucose absolutely aerobically.

Which region in the United States has the fewest thunderstorms per year?
Serga [27]

Answer:

Pacific Northwest

Explanation:

In the United States, the Pacific Northwest is the region that receives the least thunderstorm in a year. This is because of the location of the region. The region consists of states like Washington, California, Alaska, Hawaii, and Oregon. This region has few thunderstorms due to the nature of the region. The coldness of the pacific ocean means that there is more colder air on the earth. This suppressed the hot air. Thus, conventional rainfall; with thunder is less common. The other factor is the dryness of the region. The dry region has a lower humidity. This lesson the chance of charges air between the two fronts.
