Answer: Are not absolute and must be balanced against other considerations.

Explanation:

The Bill of Rights of the U.S. Constitution, gives American citizens certain civil liberties that must be respected and upheld by the United States government and all governments subservient to the Constitution e.g. state governments.

However, as much as these rights are to be upheld by the government, they are not absolute. Sometimes these liberties can be taken away if deemed necessary for the good of the nation such as when a person commits a crime.

Anna is called on by her professor to share the definition of long-term potentiation with the class. She states that it is the e
VARVARA [1.3K]

Answer:

d. neurotransmitter

Explanation:

In this definition, Anna was very close to successfully describing long-term potentiation. However, her definition is inaccurate because she mistook neurons for neurotransmitters. Long-term potentiation is the strengthening of synapses (or the enhancement of communication) between two neurons. These patterns of synaptic activity produce a long-lasting increase in signal transmission. This phenomenon occurs thanks to synaptic plasticity, which is the ability of chemical synapses to change their strength.

PLEASE DO ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS FOR MY SUREVEY :)
bija089 [108]

Answer:

I will answer these personally haha, I had the same assignment :)

Explanation:

1. Single use plastics, polluting the ocean are a part of or daily life, and is messing up our oceans. In 100 years, if we make an effort to clean the oceans, we can advance pollution control.

2. Confrontation with fear itself. "The only thing to fear is fear itself". I would rather die than be paranoid over nothing.

3. Because either the person is forced abusively by the significant other, or they are forced upon by a problem, such as pregnancy, or economic issues.

4. Lack of use in certain organs. Humans can live without having certain organs such as an appendix, and etc. In the past, we needed these to survive in a world where an organism's fitness isn't compromised.

5. No. In my opinion, based on how the world is going, I feel like humans won't be able to evolve into something else. I believe that we will be extinct before we can because the world is focused on war, economy, etc., rather than the health of our own planet, which we need in order to survive.

6. I feel like the family surrounding the eldery or members of government should take care of them. Family comes first, not personal benefit.

Answer:

B. The frame is people who play video games

Explanation:

into a survey  it its neccesary to delimit  people according to the subject of the survey in order to get representative dates of the population, for that reason if the survey want to show  the quantity of people who  buy video games in a national scale, the frame of that study is people who play video games, in this order of ideas, people who don't play videogames, don't like videogames and don't have the adquisitive power to buy video games would be excluded from the survey, however, if the pollster doesn't take into account the previous affirmations, the survey won't be conclusive, reaslistic and useless for showing the quantity  people who buy video games in the game store.

Explain why homeostasis is important for survival? Be detailed in providing your answer to this question.
stepladder [879]

Answer:

Homeostasis is important because it's an organisms known environment. Even if you were to alter the environment by a little, it would effect the organism greatly. For example, if a rainforest's temperature changed to be similar to that of a desert's, then the inhabitants of the rainforest would die due to them being unaware of how to survive and blend in the desert-like temperature. In short, changing an environment can eliminate a lot of known survival skills for organisms, such as camouflage.
