The greenhouse effect is the process of heating the earth's atmosphere by trapping the Sun's energy, thereby making the atmosphere hot. This natural process of trapping the heat is caused by numerous gases like methane, carbon dioxide, water vapor, and other gases. It's from this process that the atmosphere produces bad gases that damage the earth.

The reduction of the effect can be reduced by humans if they reduce their consumption of resources or energy. Moreover, shifting to alternate technologies that use lesser or no gasoline will also help in the reduction of greenhouse gases.
