as animals and those that could not were classified as plants . Animals were then divided into blood and bloodless ( not having red blood ) animals . Furthermore , based on their ability to fly , swim , crawl , or walk , animals were classified as birds , fish , reptiles , and so on .

The classification was only based on the difference in the body sizes of organisms .

omeli [17]

Answer:

Generally, K+ ions ensures re-polarization of  the membrane potential. It always ensures that the neuron returns its resting  state, protecting the  neurons and ensuring episode of rest before the next action potential.

K+ does this by leaving the axon, making the inner layer more negative. This is resting membrane potential. Because there are many K+ channels for leakages out of the neuronal axons.

Therefore, in this scenario, he neuron will return to its resting membrane potential state which between values -50 to -75mV.

Therefore the value of the potential will be -60mV, or within the range of -50 to -60mV. This is because the neuron is is non- excitable.

Name two rocks that would react to hydrochloric acid and why?
Vadim26 [7]

Answer:

Azurite and Magnesite react with hydrochloric acid.

Explanation:

These 2 rocks contain the carbonate mineral calcite dolomite. Carbonate minerals are unstable in contact with hydrochloric acid. When acid begins to effervesce (fizz) on a specimen, a reaction takes place and bubbles of carbon dioxide evolve, thus indicating the presence of minerals like calcite dolomite.

Hope my answer is correct and helpful :)
