Answer:

It's pretty easy, don't worry!

Explanation:

Pic 1 : it's a reflection, over the x-axis, so it's answer : reflected over the x-axis.

Pic: 2 : it's rotated as you can see three times, so : rotated 270. counterclockwise about the origin!

Pic 3 : finally it's a reflection over the y-axis : reflected over the y-axis..

You always have to visualise your shape, rotate it, and make sure your answer is correct before selecting the answers...

You welcome !

Have a great day..

Please answer this question
Thepotemich [5.8K]
I believe 1 and 4 are incorrect. 4 is quite ridiculous, England won the war and had no reason whatsoever to cede colonies to the Germans. 1 is debatable, but the general consensus is that the Americans joined less to fight the "enemy over there" but rather because they felt threatened by Germany's potential alliance with a powerful Mexico and because of Germany's unrestricted submarine warfare. That said, one could argue that 1, in this case, is correct.

I believe 2 and 3 are correct. The United States did join the League of Nations after the war to prevent another conflict and promote peace (that didn't work too well). The League of Nations of the past could be compared to the United Nations of today. The American troops that arrived in Europe in the year of 1918 did indeed help stem the German advance. At some points arriving at a rate of 10 000 a day, the fresh American troops pretty much were able to swarm the war-weary Germans and kill more than the Germans could replace.

The Phoenicians are known for many of their distinct cultural characteristics. Which of the following is a Phoenician cultural a
Colt1911 [192]

Answer:

The correct answers are:

- maritime trade

- use of the bireme

- monopoly on Tyrian purple

- alphabet

Explanation:

The Phoenicians were one of the first and greatest traders of their era. At first, they traded with Greeks (wood, slaves, and glass). They also traded with Egypt, Britain, Sardinia, Iberian Peninsula, etc. After 1200 BC, the Phoenicians were the major naval and trading power of their region.

Biremes were long vessels built for military purposes and could achieve high speed and they were invented before the 6th century BC and were used by Phoenicians, Assyrians, and Greeks.

Tyrian purple has been used for the first time by the Phoenicians in early 1570 BC. There are some theories that the name Phoenicia means the land of purple. The dye was frequently used because the color did not easily fade, it came in various shades and it was the most prized dye in antiquity.

The first widely used alphabet was developed by the Phoenicians. It consisted of 22 letters and it became used throughout the Mediterranean, including the Iberian peninsula, North Africa and southern Europe.

How did Lincoln perform among Southern states in the election of 1860?
kati45 [8]

Answer:

Correct answer is D: He did not win a single Southern state, and he earned less than half of the national vote.

Explanation:

D is correct as Lincoln won around 40 percent of votes, while winning in 18 states. Still, none of them was located on the South.

All other options are false because as we have said that he won no states in the South. Most votes in the border area were won by John Bell.
