I believe absolute location is when you give an exant location of where you are and a relative location is just and area your in.

FOR EXAMPLE:

absolute location: I live on South West baker Street at 3410.

relative location: I live in Miami, Florida

An absolute location is when you give an exact location, typically using coordinates. (Latitude and Longitude)

A relative location is a location that is related to you, it depends on where you are.

For example, "Over there" or "Across that" are both relative locations, so it varies depending on what you're position is.
