It is not that younger people have no respect for the old, but that they dont share their values. As time has passed, and generations changed, political view points have changed drastically. Those of the younger generation feel as tho they are not represented, especially not by older generations who dont understand the world that we are currently living in. They are making decisions that effect us without ever understanding our situatuions. Its all a misunderstanding on both sides. Older generations feel as tho we have no values and we feel as though they dont listen long enough for us to justify ourselves. It comes down to, why respect and listen to people who never even give you the time of day?
