Answer: Hi there! I think that the preposition in this sentence would be "near".

Explanation: A preposition is a term that often describes how, where, or when something is being done. Whenever you want to figure out what a preposition in a sentence is, use the following sentence and you'll eventually find which word is your preposition: the mouse goes ____ the box.

Your preposition would look like this in the mouse sentence: the mouse goes NEAR the box.

I hope that this helps you out!

OlgaM077 [116]
I believe this is a metaphor, as it refers to one thing in order to show or suggest they are similar. The phrase means that, as how a desert can survive winds and remain steady, so is their love for each-other. No matter what happens, Fatima and Santiago’s love will forever be true-hearted and faithful. Hope this helps!

When using facial expression in ASL, is it important to feel the emotion of the facial expression? Why or why not?
Ber [7]

Answer:

Yes, it is super important!!

Explanation:

Your facial expression is like your tone of voice. Since deaf  people, well, can't hear what you are saying, it is good to show them how you feel about something. If you keep your expression blank or don't give it genuine meaning,  they can have a hard time understanding how you actually feel about the subject. For example:

  • Feeling excited about an award (smiling, jumping, laughing)
  • Feeling sad (looking down, crying, frowning)
  • feeling scared (big eyes, jumpy, afraid)

Hope this helps :)
