Cancellation of the c here requires that it appears in each additive term of the numerator and denominator: ca + cb cd. = c(a + b) cd. = a + b d but ca + b.

Step-by-step explanatin:

you just had to add both of them together and I showed you how, and what the answer is.

PLEASE HELP WITH THIS ONE AS WELL! I’m struggling with Transcendental Functions!
Svetach [21]

h(x)=20e^{kx}

a. If h(1)=20, then 20=20e^k\implies e^k=1\implies k=0.

b. If h(1)=40, then 40=20e^k\implies e^k=2\implies k=\ln2, so that 2k+1=2\ln2+1.

c. If h(1)=10, then 10=20e^k\implies e^k=\dfrac12\implies k=-\ln2, so that k-3=-\ln2-3.

Sergeeva-Olga [200]
I don't know if this is the right one but i hope this helps. this is how i learned it.
step 1=get variables on one side oof the equal sign by using inverse operation (add or subtract smaller variable)
step 2= get constants away from variable to the other side of the equal sign by using inverse operations (add or subtract constant)
step 3: isolate the variable using inverse operation (multiply or divide)
