Answer:

Think of mean as the mean one because it is the hardest to do, especially since it takes the longest

range is like distance so just remember that range is like the distance between two numbers, maybe think of a gun or something.

and mode is just the other one I guess

I hope this answer was at least a little helpful

Complete the inequality for this graph.<br> y Enter
Veronika [31]

Answer:

5

Step-by-step explanation:

They are looking for the y intercept.  I am assuming that the scale on the x and y axis are counting by 1's.  If you start at the origin (0,0) and count up, you will see that the dotting line is going through (0,5)

Fred washes a car in 6 minutes, Carl washes a car in 8 minutes. If they wash a car together then how long will it take?
kondor19780726 [428]

Based on the problem Carl will complete...

1/6 of the job per minute.

Fred will complete 1/8 of the job per minute.

Together they will complete... 1/6+1/8 of the job per minute.

That would be 7/24.

How long will that take?

1/(7/24)=24/7=3 3/7

It will take 3 and 3/7 minutes to finish washing the car.

Suppose the length of the base b of a rectangle is increased by 20 percent and the length of the altitude h is increased by 40 p
jek_recluse [69]

9514 1404 393

Answer:

  (a) 1.2b

  (b) 1.4h

  (c) A = 1.68bh

  (d) 68%

Step-by-step explanation:

(a) If 20% of b is added to b, you have ...

  b + 0.20b = 1.2b

__

(b) Similarly, if 40% of h is added to h, you have ...

  1.4h

__

(c) The area of the new rectangle is the product of the new dimensions:

  A = (1.2b)(1.4h)

  A = 1.68bh

__

(d) The original rectangle area is A = bh, so the percentage change can be computed as ...

  (A'/A -1)×100% = ((1.68bh)/(bh) -1)×100% = (1.68 -1)×100% = 68%

The given increases in base and height increase the area by 68%.
