The following are the kinds of protection that a homeowner's insurance offer:

  • It covers damages to a home.
  • It protects a home against theft.
  • It protects against natural disasters.
  • It protects against accidents or injuries.

A homeowner's insurance is a form of property insurance that, in general terms, covers four different incidents to the property. It covers damages to the interior or exterior to the home, it also covers the damage or loss of items that are found within the property, for example in case of a theft. It protects the home against damages caused by a natural disaster like a flooding or a tornado. And lastly, it will cover any accidents or injuries that can occur to the people that live within the property, as long as the accidents occur while in the home.
