Answer:

y+5 = \frac{1}{15}(x - 3)}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

m = \frac{1}{15} -- Slope

(x_1,y_1) = (3,-5) --- Point

Required

Write an equation in point slope form

The point slope form of an equation is:

y - y_1 = m(x - x_1)

Substitute values for y1, x1 and m

y-(-5) = \frac{1}{15}(x - 3)}

y+5 = \frac{1}{15}(x - 3)}

Hence, the equation in point slope form is:

y+5 = \frac{1}{15}(x - 3)}

Solving further to represent the equation in slope-intercept form, we have:

y+5 = \frac{1}{15}(x - 3)}

y+5 = \frac{1}{15}x - \frac{1}{15}*3

y+5 = \frac{1}{15}x - \frac{1}{5}

Make y the subject

y= \frac{1}{15}x - \frac{1}{5}-5

y= \frac{1}{15}x - (\frac{1}{5}+5)

y= \frac{1}{15}x - (\frac{1+25}{5})

y= \frac{1}{15}x - (\frac{26}{5})

y= \frac{1}{15}x - \frac{26}{5}

PLZ HELP!!!!!! (WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST!!!!)
lyudmila [28]
You can use feet or inches because they are both on the diagram and they are both a part of the same measuring system. If you use inches, you would be using larger numbers, but if you used feet, you would be using fractions.

I hope this helps!
