Answer: An incentive scheme is a plan to motivate individual or group performance. An incentive scheme basically involves monetary rewards, i.e., incentive pay but also includes non-monetary rewards. Incentives are variable rewards granted according to level of achievement of specific results.

True.  Many great leaders anticipate if there will be obstacles or factors that will affect their plans.  These people do not stick to a rigid set of procedures because they know that something can happen that can change all of that.  Good leaders have a back-up plan or even more than one back-up if the situation changes.  Good leaders know how to adjust the plan to the situation rather than the other way around.
