12.56 rounded to the nearest tenth (one place after the decimal) is 12.6... That is because when rounding you look at the number next to the value place you are rounding for, for this case, it is the tenths place, so you would look at the hundredths place (the next value place to the tenths) *Remember 5 or more raise the score, 5 or less give them less. So, if the ( hundredths ) place had a 5 or more the tenths place will be 6 because the original number is 5 and in the hundredths place the value is five, so, you raise the tenths place to one more value up. So, therefore that makes the answer *12.6*.

Since the place just to the right of the decimal is the tenth, we look at the digit to the right of it & if it is 5 or higher, we'll round up. If it's 4 or less, we'll leave it as is (taking out the hundredth place, or the digit to the right). Hope this helps!

pentagon [3]

Answer:

m\angle FAD =42^o

Step-by-step explanation:

Right Triangles

Right triangles are those who have a right angle, i.e. 90°. The other two angles must sum 90° to complete the 180° which must sum the internal angles of a triangle.

The image shows a circle with two similar triangles FAD and EAD. We know they are congruent because they share the same height and have a base of the same value (as indicated by the ticks). The segment AD must be perpendicular to FE since it comes from the center of the circle. We can conclude \angle FDA is right, i.e. measures 90°.

We know m\angle AFD = 48 ^o, so the required angle \angle FAD must be 90°-48°=42°.

m\angle FAD =42^o

Ned's frog jumped 38\100 meter. Then his frog jumped 4\10 meter. How far did Ned's frog jump in all?
yanalaym [24]
So first, we need to find a common denominator, make the numbers below the line equal to each other
to do this, we multiply the denominator AND numerator of 4/10 so you can get the equivilent fraction with a denominator of 100
4*10=40
10*10=100
4/10=40/100
now we add the two fractions together and we get
38/100+40/100=
78/100 of a meter
