Well, first of all, this line is decreasing. The reason for that is because first of all, it shows that the y-intercept is 5 so, on your graph, your line would start a 5 on the y axis. Now, the slope is the same thing as rise/Run so, -2 is the same thing as -2/1 which means that you would go down 2 units and then you would go across to the right 1 unit and if and when you plot and do this on your graph, you will end up with a line that is decreasing.
