Well, as far as I can tell, the mean (average) is the best representation of the data because there is no outlier (a number a lot higher or lower than the rest of the numbers that throws the data off).

Let f(x) = 2x – 1, g(x) = 3x, and h(x) = x2 + 1. Compute the following.
yaroslaw [1]
4. Since f(x) = 2x - 1, we are looking for h(2x - 1), which is (2x-1)^2 + 1. By tha time you expand this you'll get, 4x^2 - 4x + 2. So that is the answer.
5. f(f(x))  = f(2x - 1) = 2(2x - 1) - 1 = 4x - 3
6. h(g(x)) = h(3x) = (3x)^2 + 1 = 9x^2 + 1

Consider the following statements:
Black_prince [1.1K]

Answer:

b. I and II are both false.

Step-by-step explanation:

I. For a significance level, the two tailed hypothesis is not always accurate than the one tailed hypothesis test. The hypothesis testing is carried to find out the correctness of a claim of a population parameter. The two tail hypothesis test which used both positive and negative tails of the distribution is not always more accurate than one tailed test.

II. The process of the point estimation involves the utilization of the values of a statistic which is obtained from the sample data to obtain the best estimate of a corresponding unknown parameter in the given population.

Hence, both the statements are false.
