PLEASE CHOOSE CAREFULLY!!!!!
hram777 [196]

Almost all of them.

The summary should have been presented much earlier. We discussed A and B and they both should be included as answers to this question.

We find out that there is an element of deception present as well. Nora makes a loan from one of Torvald's associates in the bank. Torvald knows nothing of this, and Nora is morally incomplete: she is not forthcoming about what she's done. I'm sorry to say that in my mind, she is less than truthful about money and it is slowly ripping a hole in their marriage, which makes the last one true.

The notion of appearance and reality is well explained. He roars like a lion with a thorn in his foot, and she pretends to cower and be controlled. The truth of the matter is that she is not the least bit intimidated and continues to operate behind his back. I think that a common stereotype that exists in literature. Sometimes it exists in life as well.

All of those attributes are present in Act I. I think you can check them all off or you can argue the main ones which are ABC and D. E actually comes a bit later but I included it because even in the lines quoted, you can read it a second way. You can read her line as absolutely seriously (which I didn't during the first question about this.)

She is (very subtly) saying "I want the money and I don't care where it comes from and I'm tired of living like a pauper. And I will spend that money as I wish."

I sure wish this was an essay question.

The question wants to analyze your writing skill. For that reason, I will not write your text, but I will show you how to write it.

The central conflict of the story is that the tests the narrator is prepared to do will be on the same date as his friend's recital and he is in doubt about which event to attend.

This is an internal conflict, where the character confronts his own thoughts and wills.

How can the text be continued?

 • First paragraph: Show the narrator analyzing which event must attend. Present his doubts and conflicts about this situation.

 • Second paragraph: Show the narrator deciding that he will take the tests, but that he is afraid to tell his friend this, as this will prevent him from attending her friend's recital.

 • Third paragraph: Show how the narrator tells this to his friend and makes the friend understand the situation and support the friend's decision because that's what friends do.
