Answer: To solve, we would need to know how many hours were worked in previous weeks to find out the increase in hours that will give off the 10% increase in total production.

Explanation: To find the production volume increase - subtract the most recent production volume by a previous production volume and then divide that by the previous production volume.

Let x = current producton rate in vol/hour.
Then the current production volume in 7 days is
V = (24*7)x = 168x

The targeted production increase is 10%, so the new weekly volume is
1.1*(168x) = 184.8x

Let y =  the extra hours required to meet the new targeted volume. Therefore
(168 + y)x = 184.8x
Divide by x.
168 + y = 184.8
y = 184.8 - 168 = 16.8 hours

Answer:
For the week:
The scheduled hours is 184.8
The extra hours is 16.8

Answer:

$105,000

Explanation:

The computation of  interest capitalized in 2021 is shown below:-

Average cost of borrowing

= ($2,000,000 × 0.09 + $4,000,000 × 0.06) ÷ $6,000,000

= ($180,000 + $240,000) ÷ $6,000,000

= 7%

Average expenditure during year = $6,000,000 ÷ 2

= $3,000,000

Capitalized interest first eats up the specific construction loan

= 10% × $1,500,000

= $150,000

Therefore the next $1,500,000 is at the average borrowing rate = Construction loan × Average cost of borrowing

= $1,500,000 × 7%

= $105,000

Serhud [2]

Answer: Duress

Explanation: Defense of duress can be seen as. Circumstance whereby an individual carries out an act as an outcome of turmoil, threat or any other coercion against the individual.

It is a criminal practice of forcing another person to behave in an involuntary way either by use of conveyed intent to inflict damage or loss on another individual or force. In this case, Justin can assert the defense of duress if he is being brought to law because Andrew held a gun to his head and forced him against his will to steal from the company.

Nipennie and Mirasa, two developing countries, bartered cotton for jute rather than for currency. In this scenario, the two countries engaged in counter-trade.

Explanation:

Counter-trade is an internal mode of trade through which products and services are traded instead of hard currency for any other products or services. For developing nations with restricted exchange or credit services, this form of global trade is more prevalent.

Counter-trade can be divided into 3 main categories: trade, counter purchase and reimbursement.

The earliest counter-trade practice is bartering. An important advantage of counter trade is that it makes foreign exchange savings simpler. Complex agreements, increased costs and logistic problems are rising drawbacks of counter trade.
