How did astronomers use technology to identify characteristics of the Crab nebula?
trapecia [35]

A star remarkably ruptured about 7,500 years ago established about 6,500 light years away. The explosion states that the star was brighter than million suns and it was visible during day light which amazed the Chinese astronomers. There were amazed at the appearance of the bright star. Many years later, the arrival of the telescope, astronomers launch a nebula which is a cloud like structure and that it is a remnant of  a shattered star. The astronomers detected the promptly rotating neutron star - a pulsar surrounded by a gas envelope. Now Indian astronomers, combine powerful Cadmium-Zinc-Telluride imager on the on panel the indian astronomy satellite, AtroSat, have achieved  the most absolute X-ray polarization measurement of the Crab nebula.

A number of mutations have been described in the G protein Ras that have profound effects on its activity. For example, some mut
gladu [14]

Answer:

a mutation that blocks the GTPase activity of Ras

Explanation:

A G protein in inactive state is GDP bound but as soon as a guanine exchange factor (GEF) exchanges it with GTP it gets activated which means that in GTP bound state it is active. G - protein has endogenous GTPase activity. Upon interaction of GAP, the GTPase activity of this protein is exhibited. When GAP is present, hydrolysis of GTP into GDP occurs which leads to inactivation of G protein. A mutation which will block GTPase activity of Ras will therefore result in constitutive active signaling even in the absence of ligand binding to it's receptor. In such scenario, GTP will not be hydrolyzed into GDP so signaling will be up-regulated.

PLEASE HELP TO SOLVE IT I HAVE AN EXAM !!!
NNADVOKAT [17]

Answer:

64

Explanation:

Since the cell has two chromosomes and a diploid number of 2, in each generation, the cell doubles. In the first generation, we have two cells, in the second generation, we have 2 × 2 cells ,in the third generation, we have 2 × 2 × 2 cells. It follows that we have 2ⁿ cells in each generation where n represents the generation.

So, in the fifth generation, n = 5, so the number of cells is 2⁵ =  32.

Since we have 2 chromosomes in each cell, the number of chromosomes in the 32 cells in the 5th generation is 2 × 32 = 64 chromosomes.
