The right answer is the activation energy.

The catalyst increases the reaction rate by introducing new reaction paths (mechanism), and lowering its activation energy, or activation Gibbs free energy. By doing this it can increase the speed, or lower the temperature of the reaction. It is important to note that the catalyst does not alter the total Gibbs free energy of the reaction which is a system state function and therefore has no effect on the equilibrium constant.

Answer : The correct option is, the activation energy

Explanation :

Activation energy : Activation energy is defined as the minimum amount of energy absorbed by the reactant molecules so that their energy becomes equal to the threshold energy.

During the chemical reaction, the reactants react to form product. When a catalyst is added to a chemical reaction then the reaction becomes faster that means the rate of reaction increases and the activation energy decreases.

In the given diagram, 'G' is the activation energy without catalyst and 'H' is the activation energy with catalyst.

The energy diagram is shown below.

Decreasing the rate of gene flow between two populations is likely to make the populations more different from one another. true
devlian [24]

The given statement "Decreasing the rate of gene flow between two populations is likely to make the populations more different from one another." is False.

What is gene flow?

 • Gene flow refers to the processes by which genes are transferred from one group to another.
 • Gene flow, which is a term used more frequently in anthropology, refers to the allelic change brought on by human movement.
 • Gene flow would reduce the isolation that could lead to speciation by increasing population similarity and reproductive kinship.
 • Gene flow significantly slows down speciation by recombining the gene pools of the groups and therefore repairing the growing variations in genetic variation that would have otherwise resulted in full speciation and the creation of daughter species.

The________molecules that are produced from DNA are used by the cell's
Temka [501]

Answer:

The majority of genes carried in a cell's DNA specify the amino acid sequence of proteins; the RNA molecules that are copied from these genes (which ultimately direct the synthesis of proteins) are called messenger RNA (mRNA) molecules.

Why are there fewer phytoplankton in the mesopelagic zone relative to the epipelagic zone?
Blababa [14]
There are fewer phytoplanktons in the mesopelagic zone because of LOWER LIGHT LEVELS. It is the area of the ocean that is just below the epipelagic zone. This area of the ocean extends from a depth of 200 to 1000 meters.
