The new force of attraction between the two objects = 4 units

<h3>Further explanation  </h3>

Gravity is a force that arises because of the attraction between objects with mass.

The magnitude of this attraction is proportional to the mass of the object.

The greater the mass of the object, the greater the gravitational force

Relationships can both be stated in

Newton's Gravity Law:

\rm F=G.\dfrac{m_1.m_2}{r^2}

with F = gravitational force,  6.67 × 10⁻¹¹

G = gravitational constant,

m1, m2 = mass of object,

r = distance between two objects.

Because m₁,m₂ and G constant, then :

\tt F\approx \dfrac{1}{r^2}

Suppose that, gravitational force 16 units.

\tt F_1=\dfrac{1}{r_1^2}\\\\16=\dfrac{1}{r_1^2}\rightarrow r_1^2=\dfrac{1}{16}

If the distance between the two objects is doubled, then what the new force :

\tt r_2=2r_1\\\\F_2=\dfrac{1}{(2r_1)^2}=\dfrac{1}{4r_1^2}\\\\F_2=\dfrac{1}{4\times \dfrac{1}{16} }\\\\F_2=4~units

The process by which hot and cold air are transferred in the atmosphere is what
xz_007 [3.2K]

t can be transferred from one region to the other. In solids heat is transferred by a process called conduction. In vacuum heat transfer is by a process called radiation. In fluids (gases and liquids) heat is transferred by a process known as convection.

Equimolar solutions of the following were prepared in water separately. Which one of the solution will record the highest pH?
sammy [17]

Answer:

Ba(NO2)2

Explanation:

Anything that contains calcium comes from a strong acid. Nitrous oxide (NO2) is a weak acid, therefore the salt it makes is less acidic than the rest --> the highest pH :)

A container of carbon dioxide has a volume of 260 cm at a temperature of 22.0°C. If the
Oxana [17]

Answer:

V₂ =279.4 cm³

Explanation:

Given data:

Initial volume = 260 cm³

Initial temperature = 22.0°C

Final temperature = 44.0°C

Final volume = ?

Solution;

22.0°C (22+ 273 = 295k)

44.0°C(44+273 = 317k)

Formula:

According to Charles's law

V₁/T₁ = V₂/T₂

Now we will put the values in formula:

V₂ = V₁×T₂ / T₁

V₂ = 260 cm³ × 317k / 295k

V₂ = 82420 cm³. k  / 295k

V₂ =279.4 cm³
