Describe the causes of the enlightenment
stira [4]
Causes. On the surface, the most apparent cause of the Enlightenment was the Thirty Years' War. This horribly destructive war, which lasted from 1618 to 1648, compelled German writers to pen harsh criticisms regarding the ideas of nationalism and warfare

A huge proponent of the Enlightenment, Montesquieu suggested the theory of the separation of powers in order to obtain a political system of checks and balances, promoting order and equality. Principles of the Enlightenment also featured heavily in the Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence

An eighteenth century intellectual movement whose three central concepts were the use of reason, the scientific method, and progress. Enlightenment thinkers believed they could help create better societies and better people

What characteristic gives the Red River its name?
ExtremeBDS [4]

Answer: A. The water collects minerals from reddish-orange soils.

Explanation:

The Red River (also called the Southern Red River) is located in the southern United States and flows southeast through Texas and Oklahoma.

Its name is due to the fact that the river transports large amounts of red soil, coming from the bed of its basin, during flood periods. Another important feature of this river is that it has a high salt content.

What was the purpose of the federalist papers?
iVinArrow [24]
The federalist paper is to persuade the states to create a new constitution where a federal government is established. After the American Revolution, the government have less power compared to the state government. To further unite the country, Hamilton and Madison (and others too) wrote the federalist paper to persuade Americans that a strong centralized government is needed. With a federal government, nationality is created. States agreed, but they want some states/human rights included in the constitution. Thus the Bill of Rights were created.
