The constitution, has continued to be the law America stands with for many, many years. Although amendments have been made, the basics have been the same. Take for example the ideas of fairness and being just. The men that wrote the constitution believed so very strongly in these ideals and that we should have them and 200 years later these ideas are just as important if not more! The constitution has stood the test of time because even though its old it is in no way outdated in the ideals we want in the world!
