Yes Jesus was a rebel because he never followed the rules he would heal people with the wave of his hand and that annoyed the elders of the time he didn't even care he was the son of God and he had a duty on this earth that he was fulfilling no matter what got in his way at the end there were many ways he could have gotten out of death but all of them would have meant betraying his father so instead h died for us and our sin.
