Answer:

If there is an exact copy of the bigger Ferris wheel, then the smaller will be the same as the bigger one.

Rather they should be congruent to each other, just the size will differ.

The central angles will be the same as suppose if there are 6 compartments in bigger wheel, then smaller will also have 6 compartments (being replica). Both will have \frac{360}{6}=60 degrees central angle.

So, they will be same.

The arc and the central angles will be the same.

If you were making a replica ferris wheel it would be similar to the larger ferris wheel. This means that all the angles would be the same. If the angles were the same, the arc measures would also be the same.

A company makes gift boxes in different sizes following the pattern shown below. What is the volume of the fourth gift box to th
AVprozaik [17]

The volume of the fourth box is of 410.1 cubic inches.

---------------------

The volume of a rectangular prism is given by the base area multiplied by the height, that is:

V = A_bh

---------------------

 • For the first three boxes, the height is constant at 9 inches.
 • At the base, the edge length is multiplied by 1.5 each time, as \frac{4.5}{3} = \frac{3}{2} = 1.5, thus, for the fourth box, the edge length, in inches, will be of 4.5 \times 1.5 = 6.75

---------------------

 • Square base, of length 6.75 inches, thus:

A_b = 6.75^2 = 45.5625

 • Height of 9 inches, thus h = 9 and:

V = A_bh = 45.5625(9) = 410.1

The volume of the fourth gift box will be of 410.1 cubic inches.

Step-by-step explanation:

96/12=8

This means that 8 is the factor by which the diagram and the actual ramp vary

so then you multiply 8 times the height on the diagram to find the true height

8x6=48
