Answer:

The line going to the left aka the negative side!

X < -15 means X is less than -15

The line's purpose is to to show the possibilities of X.

So all the numbers lower than -15 are all possibilities of X. (Example: -16, -17 or -20 would be a possibilty of X because they are less than -15!)

Anything going above -15 is not a possibility of X (Example: -14, -13, or 2 are not possibilities of X as they are greater than -15!)

Three people share half a pizza evenly. What fractional part of the original pizza does each one get?
beks73 [17]

Answer:

The fractional part of the original pizza is  \frac{1}{6}

Step-by-step explanation:

Let

x-----> the original pizza (complete pizza)

we know that

Half a pizza represent ------> \frac{x}{2}

Divide half a pizza by three people

(\frac{x}{2})/3=\frac{x}{6}

therefore

Which of the following best describes the relationship between (x-3) and the polynomial x^3+4x^2+2?
Anna71 [15]
This is the concept of polynomials, to get the relationship between the (x-3) and (x^3+4x^2+2) we shall proceed as follows;
we first test if (x-3) is a polynomial;
x-3=0
thus;
x=3
substituting the value of x in the polynomial we get:
(3)^3+4(3)^2+2
=65
since the result is not equal to 0, we conclude that there is no relationship between (x-3) and the polynomial. The answer is B. (X-3) is not a factor
