food desert means there isn't a lot of available nutritional food in an area. so when people arnt getting the proper nutrition they need and are constantly eating foods high in fat and sugar their health will gradually decline. when does health declines they can get overweight, they can loose healthy weight, they can have clogged arteries and increased risk of heart attack or stroke. the number of food deserts kill many people by ruining their health
