There are several reasons due to which a women is more likely to become infected with HIV. During unprotected sex, the male sperm gets deposited in the vagina of a women and then from there the infection gets to the blood very easily if the male is infected. In case of male this can only happen if there is a cut. So women will get infected by HIV very easily.
