8:15 AM - 11:42 AM = 3 hours and 27 minutes.
1:12 PM - 4:00 PM = 2 hours and 48 minutes.
3 hours + 2 hours = 5 hours.
27 minutes + 48 minutes = 1 hour and 15 minutes.
5 hours + 1 hour and 15 minutes = 6 hours and 15 minutes.

Natalie worked a total of 6 hours and 15 minutes.

A small publishing company is planning to publish a new book. The production cost to include a one-time fixed cost and variable
Anni [7]

Answer:

The number of the books is 4384.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let, the number of the books will be x.

With the first method, the total cost will be, $(19521 + 21x) and with the second method, the total cost will be $(62265 + 11.25x).

As per the given condition it is told that the costing should be equal.

Hence, 19521 + 21x = 62265 + 11.25x\\x = 4384.

In a recent year, certain colleges and universities received about $268 million in aid. Ten years later, they received about $94
topjm [15]
D) 65% decrease.

I worked it out by: 268 mill - 94 mill (calculating the difference in money)
then divided that by the original 268 mill, to finally get 0.64925....

And since the money is decreasing, it is a 65% decrease.

Hope this helps, and I think it should be right - but maybe double check in case :)
