The table below shows the velocity y, in miles per minute, of a toy car at different times x, in minutes: Time (x) (minutes) 10
MrMuchimi
A. If you plot the points in a graph, it would look like that shown in the picture attached. If we use linear regression, the correlation is very poor. The coefficient of correlation (r2) is only 0.0017. There is no linear relationship between time and velocity.

B. The slope of the graph is equal to y2-y1/x2-x1, In this case, it would specifically be v2-v1/t2-t1

Slope = 0.8-0.2/20-10 = 0.06 miles/s^2

The slope represents the acceleration at time 10 to 20 minutes.

C. The table in the graph shows causation rather than correlation. The points in the data occur in a sequential manner.

87 + 89 divided by 2 x 2 x 2 x 6 x 5 x 4 x 2 x 12 x3
Fittoniya [83]
First you add 87 +89 which equals 176.
second you multiply all the numbers you want to divide, which, to save time, equals 69,120

176 / 69,120 = 0.0025462962963 (0.003 if needing to round)

D,

You basically see if statements are correct or not. Remember this is sample, sample is portion of population so if everything is dome correctly, the results of sample will also display the results of population +- error (standard deviation). So you can just use the sample results to answer questions about the population.

A is correct because social studies has 4 students and reading has 8. Math has twice.
B is correct because reading has 2 and math has 8. Reading is one fourth of math 8*1/4 = 8/4=2.
D is NOT correct because math is 8, social studies is 4. Math is not half of social studies. Social studies is half of math.
