slope (m ) = \frac{5}{2} , y - 1 = \frac{5}{2} ( x - 2)

The equation of a line in ' point- slope form 'is

y - b = m (x - a)( m is the slope and (a , b ) a point on the line )

To calculate m use the ' gradient formula'

m = (y₂ - y₁ )/(x₂ - x₁ )

let (x₁, y₁ ) = (2 , 1) and (x₂, y₂ ) = (14 , 31) ← values chosen from table

m = (31 - 1 )/(14 - 2 ) =\frac{30}{12} = \frac{5}{2}

equation in point- slope form using m = \frac{5}{2} and (a,b )= (2 , 1)

y - 1 = \frac{5}{2} ( x - 2)

If every pair of consecutive angles of a quadrilateral are supplementary, then the quadrilateral must be a parallelogram.
Luda [366]
Answer: true.

If a quadrilateral is a parallelogram, it has two sets of opposite sides that are congruent. If you follow the picture attacheed, you see that AD equals BC and AB equals DC.
There is a theorem that says that If a quadrilateral is a parallelogram, it has<span> consecutive angles that are supplementary. Suplementary means that, those 2 angles together, form 180º.</span>
