What describes the period following the War of 1812?
rjkz [21]

The correct answer is An era of nationalism and economic growth

After the war of 1812 Americans felt proud of their country and a strong sense of belonging. Also during the war, the British government cut America’s access to manufactured goods and this forced America to somehow gain strength and produce those products internally what made the country gain economic independence.

Think about what Washington said about political factions and alliances with other countries. Should they be encouraged or avoid
AysviL [449]

I would say this is a very interesting question lets discuss the benefits and drawbacks. Ok so he said a nation not united would fall. And it did during the american civil war. I would say being a strong nation you should encourage trade. For that making economic alliances is good. It boosts your economy and adds plenty of goods to. But they should be avoided if the country is divided like america was. Having the strongest economy is the key to being the strongest nation.

Volgvan

Louverture's prominent role in the Haitian success over colonialism and slavery had earned him the admiration of friends and detractors alike. Toussaint Louverture began his military career as a leader of the 1791 slave rebellion in Saint-Domingue; he was by then a free man and a Jacobin.
