The economist Steven Landsburg claims that with a death penalty, each execution deters about eight murders, resulting in a benef
ANEK [815]

Answer:

reasonable

Explanation:

Based on the information provided within the question it can be said that from a purely economic perspective, the death penalty for computer hackers is reasonable. This is because if all the information provided is true, that means that computer hackers are causing millions of dollars in damage from their hacks, and if a murder execution benefits society with approximately $56 million then we can assume that, an execution for a computer hacker will also deter other hackers and save a significantly higher amount of money for society. This is all based on a purely economic stand point but the death penalty should not be decided on economics alone but also take into consideration social, political, and religious factors.

What identified the characteristics of the plains Indian's cultures.
Likurg_2 [28]

Answer:

Explanation:

Every tribe was different, although certain elements were common to most of the Plains tribes. The true Plains peoples were entirely nomadic, following migrating herds of buffalo, antelope and deer that provided the major portion of the diet. They therefore needed mobile dwellings: the tipi-style lodges that had different names in each of the many Plains languages.

Each tribe was based on clans and small hunting bands; only very rarely would an entire tribe come together in one place - and this would only be for a very short time due to lack of sufficient food and grazing. Consequently most tribes had no head chief.

All plains people depended on horses for transport, hunting and warfare. Some war parties set out on foot, in the expectation of stealing enemy horses that could be ridden and herded back to camp.

Bows were the primary weapon for hunting and in war.

The Plains people generally lacked pottery since it was far too heavy and fragile for a nomadic lifestyle; instead containers of rawhide (parfleches) were made, which were very light and durable.

Hunting bands would not remain in any one place for more than a few weeks, except in winter when a sheltered valley would be used for many month

And consumerism is a serious problem that we have as a society.

Consumerism that citizens are purchasing things that are not necessary, they do not need them, products that do not cover a basic necessity, and neither are desired by consumers.

However, advertisement and other marketing techniques focus their messages on aspirations. And if people have money, they like aspirational things and the buy, and buy, although they don't need the products and keep them somewhere in their wardrobes and warehouses.
