The answer should be 2x -7y is less than or equal to 14. I’m not sure if that’s an answer option. But I couldn’t see it but that’s what I think it should be. I’m sorry if I’m wrong

Complete Question

The  complete question is shown on the first uploaded image

Answer:

The solution is  y^2 = \frac{1}{ 3 - 2 (1 + x^2 ) ^{\frac{1}{2} }}

Step-by-step explanation:

From the question we are told that

  The  function is  \left \{ {{y' =  xy^3 (1 + x^2)^{-\frac{1}{2} }} \atop {y(0) =  1}} \right.

Generally the above  equation can be represented as

      \frac{dy}{dx}  =  xy^3  (1+ x^2)^{- \frac{1}{2} }

      =>   \frac{dy}{y^3}  =  \frac{x}{ (1 + x^2)^{\frac{1}{2} }} dx

     \int\limits { \frac{dy }{y^3} } \,    =  \int\limits {\frac{x}{(1 + x^2) ^{\frac{1}{2} }} } \, dx

=>    - \frac{1}{2y^2}  =  (1 + x^2)^{\frac{1}{2} }+ C

From the question we are told that at y(0) =  1

     - \frac{ 1}{2 * (1) } =  (1 + (0)^2)^{\frac{1}{2} } + C

     C =  - \frac{3}{2}

So

       - \frac{1}{2y^2}  =  (1 + x^2)^{- \frac{1}{2}}  - \frac{3}{2}

     \frac{1}{y^2}  =  3-2(1 + x^2)^{\frac{1}{2} }

     y^2 = \frac{1}{ 3 - 2 (1 + x^2 ) ^{\frac{1}{2} }}

How to solve this equation of the missing sides of the triangle
iris [78.8K]

Step-by-step explanation:

Given is a 45°-45°-90 ° angled triangle.

By 45°-45°-90 ° angled triangle theorem:

side opposite to 45° angle is \frac{1}{\sqrt 2} times of hypotenuse.

\therefore \: 7 =  \frac{1}{ \sqrt{2} }  \times m \\  \\   \huge \red{ \boxed{\therefore \: m \:  = 7 \sqrt{2}  \: units}} \\  \\ n \:  =  \frac{1}{ \sqrt{2} }  \times m \\  \\  \therefore \:n \:  =  \frac{1}{ \sqrt{2} }  \times 7 \sqrt{2} \\ \huge \purple{ \boxed{\therefore \:n \:  =   7 \: units}} \\

Someone explain to me how to get the correct answer
Bingel [31]
Graph :
slope (rate of change) = (-2 - (-4) / (-2 - (-6) = 2/4 = 1/2
y int = (0,-1)
x int = (2,0)

f(x) = 2x - 2
slope(rate of change) = 2
y int = (0,-2)
x int = (1,0)

greater rate of change : f(x) = 2x - 2.....greater by 1.5
greater y int : graph....greater by 1
greater x int : graph...greater by 1
steeper graph : f(x) = 2x - 2
