An independent variable is a variable that is controlled in the experiment to test whether there will be an effect on the dependent variable. So in the experiment, the independent variable is the color of the feeder because Jamal wants to know if there is an effect if he uses red feeders on the hummingbirds. The tell tale heart why does the narrator seat himself and the officers in the room where the body is buried?
Liono4ka [1.6K]

Answer:

To act casual like nothing has happened.

Explanation:

In 'The Tell-Tale Heart', the narrator seat himself and the police officers in the room where the body is buried to indicate that nothing has happened and to avoid any suspicion from the officers.

When the police got called by his neighbor, the narrator hid the remains of the dead man beneath the floorboards and placed a chair above the dead man. The narrator says that he did that in order to avoid any suspicion when the police arrived. He sat on the chair and had a casual talk with the officers because he was sure that he won't get caught.

How does the strong history of immigration in the United States influence the kind of nation we have become? Since most American
elena-14-01-66 [18.8K]
I am going to give you my honest opinion. I believe our country is still fighting against discrimination against today's immigrants because of the president we have. Immigration should not be restricted because without some of the immigrants we have here in America, we'd be limited in what we know and have achieved. Say for example, if Christopher Columbus never immigrated from England, he wouldn't have found the New Land of America (not to say that he founded this land in the first place but that's just a general example). Ultimately, if you were Hispanic, African, Asian, or even from Canada, you should still have access to a freer country such as America, where rules are lessened and given less strictness. That's my opinion, what's yours?
