Write two to three paragraphs that would add dialogue to the part where her mom brings her hat and rolls her eyes.
Daniel [21]
As I unwillingly grab my father's old, knitted cap, my mother stops me.
"Darling, what are you doing?" she asks, her hands hiding behind her back. I look around the room searching for something that has gone wrong.
"What do you mean?" I reply. My mother stares deep into my eyes, trying to help my memory.
"Tsk," she mutters. I hang my head low. Mother is disappointed in me.
"Here," she says, moving her hands into view. In her hands, was another knitted cap. The difference, it was mine.
"Thank you," i say, giving her a big hug. She rolls her eyes, but comtinues to stroke my head.

When Victor arrives at Ingolstadt, he encounters two professors: M. Krempe and M. Waldman. What inferences can you make about Vi
Alexandra [31]
The first person he encounters at Ingolstadt is Krempe, a professor of natural philosophy. This meeting is described as the work of an evil influence the "Angel of Destruction." The professor is astounded at the absurd and outdated science that Victor has read in the past, and tells him to begin his studies completely anew. At first, the narrator is indifferent to the idea of returning to science: he has developed a deep contempt for natural philosophy and its uses. This changes, however, when Victor attends a lecture given by a professor named Waldman. Victor is completely enraptured by the ideas of Waldman, who believes that scientists can perform miracles, acquire unlimited powers, and "mock the invisible world with its own shadows." He decides to return to the study of natural philosophy at once; he visits Professor Waldman the following day to tell him that he has found a disciple in Victor Frankenstein.

Read the excerpt from "As Good as Gold." What does the excerpt show about the historical context of the story?
Drupady [299]

There were no roads or automobiles in the area.

It's clear through the passage that there are no paved roads or cars to get the miners from place to place. They had to carry all of their gear and supplies through dangerous trails by foot, only being able to travel a certain amount each day.
