1. The word “initiative” means the action of doing something without being told to do so. The dictionary definition is (you can search it up) “the ability to assess and initiate things independently.”

2. I think the word “responsibility” means the job you have to do. The dictionary definition is “the state or fact of having a duty to deal with something or of having control over someone.”

3. I think the word “perseverance” means having the motivation to keep going in order to reach your goal even when you come across a hard problem. The dictionary definition is “persistence in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success.”

4. I think the word “empathy” means when you/one can be compassionate and comprehend the feelings of others. The dictionary definition is “the ability to understand and share the feelings of another.”

5. Perseverance can help me be successful in life because it helps me improve and stay on task. Without perseverance, I would give up on one thing and move onto the next frequently, getting nothing done. This would not do anything to help me as it would just pile on the stress of wanting to get something done but being unable to, making perseverance even more important. Having perseverance is a very useful skill that will help me stay committed to my goal.

I’m also a student, so I’m not sure if they’re all correct or the answers you’re looking for. Sorry for the bad and short responses. I’m still in online class while typing this.
