Read the excerpt from "Sugihara.” CHIUNE I'll issue hundreds of visas. Thousands of visas, if necessary. YUKIKO They'll fire you

. CHIUNE And if the Nazis find out . . . You and the children must return to Tokyo immediately. YUKIKO We're not going anywhere without you. Chiune looks at Yukiko with great concern. CHIUNE Then maybe we should just leave, all of us, right away. I can't put you and the children at risk. YUKIKO No, but I can. What does this dialogue reveal about Chiune and Yukiko? They are willing to put themselves in danger to save others. They are afraid that Chiune will lose his job when he issues the visas. They are hopeful that the war will end and they can return home. They are fearful of the crowd of people outside Chiune’s office.

Macbeth Act 2: Describe the scene with the Porter? What is his role and why is it important?
masha68 [24]
Answer:

Macbeth's porter scene functions as a comic relief after King Duncan is killed. The troll-like gatekeeper makes the audience or reader laugh with his drunken banter, and relieves the tension of the killing in the prior scene. He casts light on Macbeth's internal torment.

‘For song, issuing from its birth-place, after fulfillment, wandering Reck'd or unreck'd, duly with love returns' a) Why are the
hjlf

Answer:

Explanation:

a)

the last lines are put in a bracket because they do not make the thoughts of the poet, and neither do they make the voice of the rain. What they contain, is the observation that the poet made as regards the course the poem is taking.

b)

reck'd or unreck'd means that whether or not you cared for the sound of the rains, if someone listened to the sound made by the rain, if someone didn't listen, whatever the case may be, it does not affect the rains and neither does it affects the poet.
