Answer:

the price of each kind of ticket is $22 and $3 respectively

Step-by-step explanation:

Let us assume the adult be x

And, the children be y

Now the equations would be

x + y = $25

x = $25 - y ............(1)

45x + 60y = $1,170

3x + 4y = $78........(ii)

Now put the x value in the equation 2

3($25 - y) + 4y = $78

$75 - 3y + 4y = $78

y = $3

x = $25 - y

= $25 - $3

= $22

hence, the price of each kind of ticket is $22 and $3 respectively

Evaluate 3 7 r + 5 8 s 7 3  r+ 8 5  sstart fraction, 3, divided by, 7, end fraction, r, plus, start fraction, 5, divided by, 8
bazaltina [42]

Answer:

Therefore the value of given expression when r = 14 and s = 8 is

\dfrac{3}{7}\times r + \dfrac{5}{8}\times s=11

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

\dfrac{3}{7}\times r + \dfrac{5}{8}\times s

To Find:

Value of above  equation when r = 14 and s = 8

Solution:

\dfrac{3}{7}\times r + \dfrac{5}{8}\times s .............Given

Put,

r=14\\s=8

\dfrac{3}{7}\times r + \dfrac{5}{8}\times s=\dfrac{3}{7}\times 14 + \dfrac{5}{8}\times 8

Now 7 × 2 = 14 and 8 will cancel each other we get

\dfrac{3}{7}\times r + \dfrac{5}{8}\times s=3\times 2 + 5=6+5=11

Therefore the value of given expression is

\dfrac{3}{7}\times r + \dfrac{5}{8}\times s=11

8b^2-5m+12 when b=6 and m=8<br><br><br>Plz help!
natka813 [3]
When you are given an equation or an expression and told the values for the variables, you can just substitute them into the equation to solve:

8b^2 - 5m + 12
8(6)^2 - 5(8) + 12
8(36) - 40 + 12
288 - 40 + 12
248 + 12
