"You are given the job of developing a drug to give to animals that only targets bacteria. If the drug only targets structures t
V125BC [204]

Answer:

The bacteria cell wall

Explanation:

Since the drug targets only the structures that bacteria have, the target structure should be cell wall because human or animal cells do not have cell walls but cell membrane whereas bacteria cells have cell walls. So targeting cell walls would make the drug effective on bacteria while not affecting the animal cell thus there will not be any side effect of the drug on the animal.

Explain why Roanoke became the "lost colony" and what most likely happened to them.
charle [14.2K]
Hey there!

The reason why Roanoke became the "lost colony" was when the first time they got there they realized that they didn't have enough supplies so they went back to England leaving just a group of people behind, but when they got back they realized they were gone. They don't know why!

There are a lot of predictions on what happened to them, But I think they probably found another land and lived there instead. But you might have another reason!

Hope this helps!

What was known as the Golden Age of India?
sukhopar [10]
The period between the 4th century CE and 6th century CE is considered the Golden Age of India. The reason behind it is that during this time, India had progressed hugely in the fields of mathematics, religion, philosophy, astronomy, mathematics and science. this was the period of the Gupta's. The decimal system and the concept of zero evolved during this time period. The Gupta's can be credited for the fact that during their reign this kind of huge progress was made in several fields. It was a time of peace and prosperity. The Golden Period came to an end due to the falling of the Gupta's at the hands of the Hunas during 6th century CE.
