Answer:

While Communist China did have an immoral leader, Mao tse-tung, the Communist Party was able to adapt to the times by putting economic reform before political reform. Ultimately this historically brilliant move led by Deng Xiaoping was arguably what kept the Communist Party in rule in China for many years to come, among other things.

What do writs of assistance and the Quartering Acts have in common?
Tanya [424]

Answer: both led to a loss of civil liberties for colonists

Explanation:

The Writs of Assistance allowed British colonial customs officers in Colonial America to enforce trade laws by being able to search any ship or house that they suspected might be harboring smuggled goods.

The Quartering Acts were laws that made it the responsibility of local governments in Colonial America to feed and shelter British soldiers which led to British soldier sometimes sleeping in people's houses.

Both these Acts led to the loss of civil liberties for the colonists who had to allow the British into their homes at the behest of the British.

IgorLugansk [536]

I don't know, I'm kind of stuck between the middle. If people want to do drugs and smoke and drink, it really is there own business,  just as long as they are of age and know the consequences of what they're doing, and also don't harm others. The government should react by just telling them to not hurt others and just keep in mind what they are doing might hurt themselves.
