Secondary oocyte will complete meiosis when a sperm cell penetrates the oocyte membrane (fertilization).
The oocyte (is arrested at an early stage of the first meiotic division as a primary oocyte. During each menstrual cycle, one the day before ovulation gonadotropin hormone (luteinizing hormone) stimulates completion of meiosis 1. After the meiosis 1, 2 haploid daughter cells are formed: one becomes the secondary oocyte the other forms the first polar body. Newly formed secondary oocyte starts meiosis 2 which arrests at metaphase which will continue after the fertilization.
Based on my knowledge C. mitochondria is the correct answer!!!!
All the cells require energy in order to work, however, the cells of the muscles possess an unusually greater need for energy. The muscles go through vigorous activity and such amount of energy provided by the organelles known as mitochondria.
At the end of meiosis II, the DNA in each of the four new cells compared to the DNA from the original cell is half as much and genetically different from the original. Meiosis is a part of cell division that results in the reduction of chromosome number by half in daughter cells. So, all daughter cells will have as half as much the original cell have. Nonetheless, during meiosis, the exchange of genetic material between homologous chromosomes occur. So, all daughter cells are genetically different from the original cell.
Originally, there were only five bacterial cells. After one month, the amount of bacteria is doubled with ten bacteria. The growth is represented by the formula:
a42 = 5 x 2^1
After 42 months, the growth can be solved using this formula:
a42 = 5 x 2^42
