PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP. I HAVE A FRENCH 1 DBA AND I DONT GET ANY OF THIS PLEASE. Explain how French numbers are formed
Dima020 [189]
The French numbers spelling are like the same composition as the English numbers, but there are some rules:
examples :

for the twelve first numbers, it is just one word: one-un, two-deux, three-trots, four-quatre, five-cine, six-six, seven-sept, eight-huit, nine-neuf and ten-dix, eleven-onze, twelve-douze.
Thirteen to nineteen, in English you add -teen, in French it is -ze, like treize, quatorze, quinze, seize. BUT for seventeen, eighteen and nineteen, in French it is NOT THE SAME! it is like ten+seven, ten+eight, ten+nine, so it is dix-sept, dix-huit, dix-neuf.
After these numbers, it is the same in English or in french, it is twenty+one, vingt+(et)+un, vingt-deux....
BUT in French for seventy and ninety, it is sixty+ten and eighty+ten, such as Soixante-dix and quatre-vingt dix. and after you take the soixante to the quatre vingt and you add the from eleven to nineteen.

Hope this help, and I hope you understand me!

Andru [333]

Answer:

Hey IDK if I'm writing this in time

a)il est douze(12) heures et vingt-cinq(25)

b)il est trois(3) heures et cinq(5)

c)il est cinq(5) heures et trente(20)

d)il est dix(10) heures

e)il est un(1) heure quarante-cinq (45)

f) il est quatre(4) heures quarante-cinq(45)

g)il est onze (11) heures ciquante-cinq(55)

h)il est six(6) heures et demie.

i)il est cinq(2) heures moins trois

j)il est un(1) heure et vingt.(20)

k)il est huit heures et quart.

Explanation:

You have to memorize the french numbers and then add to the minutes, and say the time. Now, I'm not sure if ur hw required standard or military time, which is like 1:00 is 13:0 because 24 hrs. If it is keep the same but just add the hour like 1:00 to 12, 13, and DONT use quart or demie itsnot allowed in military time. Good luck. If im late im sry i tried :D
