Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

I'm assuming you have 26 cards each with a different letter on it.

(d) Prob(Not M, Not M , M)

= 25/26 * 25*26 * 1/26

= 625/17576

or 0.036 to nearest thousand

(e) Prob(Not M, Not M,  M) without replacement

= 25/26*24/25*/1/24

= 1/26

or 0.038 to nearest thousandth.

2(a)

1/6.

(b)

5/6 * 1/6

= 5/36.

(c)

5/6 * 5/6

= 25/36

\frac{7}{13}-Female

\frac{2}{3}- Men Married.

\frac{7}{13}  divided by \frac{2}{3} = \frac{7}{13} x\frac{3}{2} = \frac{21}{6} = 3\frac{2}{6} = 3\frac{1}{3}

Michael is 4 times as old as Brandon and is also 27 years older than Brandon. How old is Michael?
leonid [27]
Let M mean Michael, and B mean Brandon, when write two equations:

M = 4B
B = M - 27

Replace the B in the first equation with what it is equal to in the second equation:
M = 4(M - 27)
Distribute
M = 4M - 108
Subtract 4M from both sides
-3M = -108
M = 36

Now put that back into the equation for B.
B = M - 27
B = 36 - 27
B = 9

So, Brandon is 9 and Michael is 36.
