Could we have won the revolutionary war without the french
LekaFEV [45]

It was possible, as the Continental Army actually had more troops than the British Army in the 13 colonies. However, it would be a lot less likely.

It also depends what you mean by "without the French". Do you mean without the French Army, or do you mean no aid from the french at all? (no supplies, no arms, no ammunition, no training, no money, etc)

This was due to the South having a hard time coming to terms with the fact that they were obligated to give African-Americans equal voting rights. The above were both harsha and offensive tactics used against former slaves, so that they were unable to vote.

How did denmark veset show courage?
AnnyKZ [126]

Answer:

*It should be Denmark Vesey not Denmark Veset*

He was accused and convicted of being the leader of "the rising," a potentially major slave revolt which was scheduled to take place in the city on July 14, as well as mounting a planned insurrection where slaves would rise in the middle of the night, murder their masters by slitting their throats, burn the city, and then mount their escape by sailing from the harbor in Charleston to the black republic of Haiti.
