Answer:

Length = 20feet

Width = 10feet

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of a rectangle = LW

Perimeter P= 2(L+W)

L is the length

W is the width

If the length of a rectangle is twice as long as the width, then;

L = 2W

Substitute into the foemula

A = (2W)W

A= 2W²

If the area is 200ft², then;

200 = 2W²

100 = W²

W = √100

W = 10ft

Since L = 2W

L = 2(10)

L = 20ft

Hence the length of the rectangle is 20feet and the Width is 10feet

What is the tires weight in pounds?
poizon [28]
Hey!

To solve this problem we must begin by writing out an equation.

Here's the equation I've created.

520 ÷ 453.592 = ?

Now we solve our created equation to get the answer.

520 ÷ 453.592 = 1.1464046985

That could be our final answer but sometimes you might want to round.

So, the tires weight in pounds is 1.1464046985 or 1.15.

Hope this helps!

Item 9 Find the annual interest rate. I=$562.50, P=$1500, t=5 yearsI=$562.50, P=$1500, t=5 years The annual interest rate is %.
Anton [14]
Hi there :-)
The formula of the simple interest is
I=prt
your question ask to find r which is interest rate you do that by dividing each side by (pt) to get
R=I÷pt
Now solve to get the interest rate
R=562.5÷(1,500×5)
R=0.075×100 multiply by 100 to get it as percentage
R=7.5%

Hope it helps:-)

A biologist is researching the population density of lizards near a boulder in a desert. The biologist
melamori03 [73]

Answer:

76

Step-by-step explanation:

Use .25 to represent the 1/4 of a mile.

Since it is a given radius around the boulder, we would treat it as such and find the area of the circle around the boulder.

To do this, you do .25² * 3.14

.0625 * 3.14 = .19625

15/.19625 = 76 and some change, but you need to round down to 76

Answer is 76.

The measure of two vertical angles are 45 percent and (4x + 1 ). Find the value of x
Svetllana [295]
Since angles that are vertical to each other are equal to each other, the first thing I did is set 45 equal to 4x+1 which would look something like this: 45=4x+1
Then I solved for x. First, I subtracted 1 from each side to isolate 4x which would get me to 4x=44. Then I divided each side by 4 to isolate x and get me to my answer which would be x=11.
