When shelly, a white american, sees a middle eastern man, she worries that he may be a terrorist. she would never say this and would never take action on these thoughts, but nonetheless, they come into her mind. despite her commitment to fair treatment, she is harboring prejudice, an action and effect of prejudging,  a previous opinion of something that we know little or nothing, in her case, she doen´t know the person but acts like she knows he is a bad person, pre judging only by his possible nationality.
